TURAS Project (2011 - 2016)

TURAS (Transitioning Towards Urban Resilience and Sustainability) is applied research project on urban and environmental sustainability and flexibility financed by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission. University College of Dublin is a leading partner of TURAS.

Work Package № 5 (Limiting urban sprawl) aims to develop planning policies, rules, and practical tools for regulating and limiting urban sprawl in Sofia and Rome. Partners in WP5 are universities, institutes and municipalities in Bulgaria, Italy, Serbia and Slovenia - www.turas-cities.org
